自社の事務所が入る中島川沿いのビルは、独立開業して事務所物件を探していた時に巡り会い、その立地環境に魅了された。仲間と一緒にビルの元オーナーに打診し、上層階をシェアオフィス、１階をカフェと花屋を併設する提案をし、約２年後のオープンにこぎつけた。N.Y.のブルックリンに本店を構える「BROOKLYN ROASTING COMPANY」の内装は、ビルの駆体を活かし、過度な装飾を排除した。当店で提供されるコーヒーのように、透明感と深みのある空間に仕上がった。同じ空間を共有する花屋「bois de gui」は作業カウンターと花を陳列するための空調管理可能なガラスの小部屋を備え、その華やかさは店内はもちろん、通行人さえも惹きつける。両店とも時間と共に味わいが増す本物の自然素材を用いている。このビルの構想のテーマである「チームプロジェクト」によって人が集まる場となり、日々様々な繋がりが生み出されている。

I was charmed instantly when I came across this building alongside Nakanoshima River that now holds my office. I encountered this when I started searching for suitable places to start my business, and was fascinated by its location. After negotiations with the former owner, a proposition to open a shared office space on the upper floors and a flower and cafe on the ground floor. Two years later, my colleagues and I brought this idea to life. For the interior design of BROOKLYN ROASTING COMPANY, headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, the skeleton of the building was effectively used and excessive decorations were excluded, This design makes the space impressive and sophisticated like the coffee they offer. Bois de gui, the flower shop in the same space, is equipped with a work table as well as a small sunroom displaying beautiful flowers, a feature that fascinates not only customers but also passersby. Both shops utilize natural materials, which gradually grow depth to its color over time. Various ties and lively social meetings occur here everyday.
